The storm took minutes.
The claim shouldn't take months.
Calgary is the hail capital of Canada, and stucco takes the hit: fractured finish coats, crushed foam, cracks that let water in all winter. We inspect for free, document everything the way adjusters expect, and repair it to match the wall it was.
Most hail damage to stucco is invisible from the street, and that's exactly what makes it expensive later. The finish takes the impact, the layers behind it take the consequences.
Circular crack patterns and chips where stones struck. Each fracture is a path for water, and Calgary's freeze-thaw cycles pry every crack wider each winter.
On synthetic stucco, hail compresses the foam behind the finish, leaving soft dents that flex, crack, and let moisture reach the wall assembly.
A wall breached in June leaks quietly until spring. By the time staining shows inside, the repair has gone from patch to remediation, and the claim window may be closed.
Most stucco quotes are a number in a text message. That doesn't survive contact with an insurance claim. Ours arrive as a documented scope: elevation-by-elevation photos of every impact, damage marked and measured, and a line-item repair scope written in the format adjusters expect.
We photograph before anything is touched, document what the damage has done behind the finish, and stay available to walk the adjuster through the wall if your insurer wants a site meeting.
After every major Calgary storm we run free stucco hail inspections across the affected quadrants. One visit tells you whether you have a claim, a small repair, or nothing to worry about.
A wall-by-wall inspection of every elevation · photos of each impact area · a plain-language written summary of what we found · a repair scope you can hand straight to your insurer if a claim makes sense.
Book my free inspectionLight hail on a newer wall usually means spot repairs: fractured areas cut back, rebuilt, and texture-matched so the fix disappears. A heavily peppered or faded elevation is often better served by a full recoat, one uniform finish across the whole wall, which is also how insurers commonly settle widespread damage. We quote the honest option, and if you want the wall hardened against the next storm, ask us about the impact-resistant coating system we already install on Calgary homes. What Calgary homeowners ask first.
Hail is a commonly covered peril on Alberta home policies, and exterior finishes damaged by a storm are usually claimable. Every policy differs on deductibles and claim windows though, so check yours early. Our documentation gives your adjuster what they need to assess the claim quickly.
From the ground it often looks fine. Up close, hail leaves circular fracture marks, chipped finish coat, and on EIFS, soft crushed spots where the foam behind the finish compressed. Those breaches let water in even when nothing looks broken, which is why we inspect wall by wall instead of guessing from the sidewalk.
We walk every elevation, photograph and mark each impact area, check whether the damage is cosmetic or has breached the weather barrier, and give you a written summary. If the damage doesn't justify a claim, we tell you that too.
We colour- and texture-match repairs to the existing finish. On heavily faded walls we'll tell you up front if a full elevation recoat is the better route, and quote both so you and your adjuster can compare.
Quickly. Insurance policies have limited claim windows, and every week a breached wall is exposed adds moisture damage the claim may not cover. After a major Calgary storm our inspection slots fill fast, so book the free inspection as soon as you suspect damage.
A free inspection now beats discovering water damage in March. We answer 24/7 and inspect within days of every major storm.
