Waterproofing done right

Beautiful is the easy part

What decides how long your bathroom lasts is what goes underneath the tile. This is the Schluter system we install in every wet area, exactly as the manufacturer specifies, step by step.

The base, done right

A straight, solid alcove and a factory-sloped Schluter base with the drain kit. The slope to the drain is engineered, not eyeballed on site.

Kerdi-Board goes in

Waterproof board replaces drywall on the walls. It cannot rot, swell, or feed mould.

Wrapped in Kerdi

Membrane over every surface, seams banded, corners sealed to Schluter spec.

Then, the tile

Large format, set in full coverage so every tile is supported edge to edge.

Grouted. Finished.

Sealed grout, clean silicone corners, watertight for decades.

What Calgary homeowners ask first.

Do I need a permit for a bathroom renovation in Calgary? +

Tile and finishing work needs no permit. Plumbing and electrical changes do, and our licensed partner trades pull them as part of the job, so you never deal with the city yourself.

How long does a bathroom renovation take? +

A tub surround or shower re-tile typically runs days, not weeks. A full renovation usually takes two to four weeks depending on scope, and where the home has a second bathroom we keep it working for you throughout.

Can I supply my own tile? +

Yes. Many clients pick their own tile and we're happy to install it. We'll flag anything about your choice that affects waterproofing, layout or cost before work starts.

Do you take small jobs, like just a tub surround? +

Yes. Small wet-area jobs get the same Schluter waterproofing system and the same warranty as a full renovation.

Why renovate in winter? +

Winter is our indoor season, so booking is easier and timelines are shorter, while many renovation companies add winter premiums we don't charge.
