WATERPROOFING SCIENCE

A beautiful shower is worthless if it leaks. We don't just "tile over drywall." We build a complete, sealed waterproof envelope behind your tile using the Schluter-Kerdi family of products.

Kerdi-Board Walls Rigid, waterproof foam panels that replace drywall. They don't rot, don't warp, and provide zero food source for mold.
Integrated Drainage We use linear and point drains where the waterproofing membrane is bonded directly to the drain flange, creating a fail-safe seal.
Vapor Tight Our systems are rated for steam showers, preventing moisture from ever reaching your wall studs.

Comfort & Preparation

LEVELING & HEATED FLOORS

There is nothing quite like stepping onto a warm tile floor during a Calgary winter. But warmth is only half the battle—the floor must also be built to handle stress.

Ditra-Heat System We install uncoupling membranes that allow the wood subfloor to expand/contract independently from the tile. This prevents cracks while providing electric warmth.
Self-Leveling Concrete Large tiles require a dead-flat surface. We pour liquid self-leveler over uneven subfloors to correct dips before laying a single tile.
Lippage Control We use mechanical clips and wedges to lock tiles flush with each other while the mortar cures, ensuring a smooth finish.
